Discover Stoke-on-Trent’s Heritage Through the 2025 Calendar by The Red Haired Stokie

As a lifelong resident of Stoke-on-Trent, I’ve always felt a deep connection to this city’s history, culture, and industrial legacy. Every corner of Stoke has a story, and over the years, I’ve made it my mission to capture those stories through my lens as ‘The Red Haired Stokie.’ Now, I’m excited to bring that passion to life in a new way with my exclusive 2025 Stoke-on-Trent Calendar.

This calendar is more than just a collection of images; it’s a visual journey through some of the city’s most iconic and treasured locations. Each month features a unique photograph, taken and curated by me, celebrating the heritage, charm, and beauty of Stoke. Whether you’re a resident or simply have a love for the area, I hope this calendar will bring you a little closer to the essence of this remarkable city.

What You’ll Find Inside

From historic landmarks to industrial icons, each month highlights a place that captures the spirit of Stoke-on-Trent. Here are just a few of the locations you’ll see inside:

  • Gladstone Pottery Museum: A tribute to Stoke’s pottery heritage, showcasing preserved bottle kilns and historic workspaces.
  • Ford Green Hall: Stoke’s oldest building, a stunning timber-framed farmhouse built in 1624, where the past is beautifully preserved.
  • Fenton Town Hall: An architectural gem built in 1888, standing proudly with a war memorial that honours local soldiers.
  • Stoke Minster: A historic church site dating back to 670, which has been a central part of our community for centuries.

With each page, you’ll see Stoke from my perspective—through the lens of someone who grew up here, who knows its quirks and treasures, and who is endlessly fascinated by its stories.

Why This Calendar is Special

Creating this calendar has been a labour of love, and I’ve partnered with a fantastic local business to bring it to life. Each page is printed on high-quality 250gsm silk stock, giving the images a richness and depth that makes them really stand out. The A4 pages are ring-bound for easy flipping and feature ample space for your own notes and appointments. Measuring 297mm x 420mm when open, it’s perfectly sized for hanging at home or in the office.

Plus, each purchase supports my work as a local artist and historian. By ordering this calendar, you’re helping me continue documenting Stoke’s history and sharing its beauty with others. This calendar is truly a show of my love for our local heritage that I’m proud to share with you.
